During PokerStars Carribean Adventure the young female PokerStars pro will teach tips and tricks during a course called Strategy Symposium Under the Sun. The course will be held the 10th of January.

The 22nd of Januar Vanessa will lead Poker Tournament Theory Boot Camp and Tournament in Biloxi, Mississippi. There ordinary people will be able to learn winning tournament strategies.

To create the same feeling as homegames PokerStars have created the concept Team Pro Tuesdays. Then the opportunity to play against proffessionals from PokerStars on different levels and in different games will be given.

Suddenly there is an opportunity to do like Mike McDermott in Rounders and play against the world champion and bluff him away with just jnk on your hand. Except playing against the stars of Poker Stars you also have the opportunity to just rail them and see how they act at the tables or chat with them.

In december PokerStars also run two Outlast the Pro-event where you can play one tournament and face the proffessionals from PokerStars for only $11. In these tournaments PokerStars have added $1000 and the players who will stay longer than the pros will share this extra pot.
- That will give an interesting twist. If you have a large stack you hope that the pros will be around long and if you are a player with a short stack you want to see the pros bust, Daniel Negreanu says.

Brian Hastings probably had his best poker night ever when he met the Swede Isildur1 yesterday. The Full Tilt-proffessional ended up with a profit of more than $3 million.

But despite a huge profit there was one person who thought that Hastings should have taken even more money – Isildur1. After a number of excerpts and many pots where the Swede thought that Hastings was lucky it seemed like the tilt hit and a hot-tempered conversation came up in the chat.

Before Brian Hastings left the table Isildur1 asked him to take the last money from him too.

After the drop for Isildur1, having lost many millions, it has been talk about whether or not the Swede has emptied his entire bankroll or not. Now Isildur1 has proven the opposite, at least for now. Between the 5th and 6th of december Isildur1 went $1,6 millions plus. The statistics at highstakesdb.com also shows that Isildur1 at this moment is up about $2,1 millions the last 24 hour period after having played 6418 hands.

The players who have been hit the hardest is Ziigmund and durrr. Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies has lost $1,4 millions in 1116 hands while Tom “durrr” Dwan is down $562 000 in 3766 hands.

The two Full Tilt Poker proffessionals played 463 hands and it ended with Patrik Antonius winning a total of $24 276,50. The largest pot was $155 199. After this small profit for Antonius, Tom Dwan is still ahead with $711 556, when a total of 27 773 have been played.

The year for James Akenhead has been tremendous, saying it mildly. Not just that he managed to get to the final table in WSOP, on the other side of the Atlantic he also reached the final table in WSOPE. His latest achievement is his victory in Full Tilt Poker Million VIII.

I have reached many final tables but never been number one so winning such a large event as Full Tilt Poker is fantastic. I think that I played really well. I trusted my instinct and my analysis and I didn’t make many mistakes throughout the tournament, James Akenhead says.

Tom Dwan has basically got what you can call a dream take off. According to highstakesdb.com the young star is up more than $2 million in the first four days of december.

Since he has both won and lost large sums, he can more easily than others understand the situation in which Isildur1 currently is in.

The Norwegian star from PokerStars now look back at his days as highstakes-gmabler on the net and has this to say:
- When you have the money it is different. If I had a bag in front of me with $3 million it would be something else. If you only have markers and numbers on a computer you act differently.

Those words are above all pointed to the highstakes-Swede Isildur1.
- I think that he is young and doesn’t understand the value of money. But I love his No-limit (Hold’em)-game. I mean, he is really good at Pot-limit Omaha but he is much better at No-limit (Hold ‘em).

The records are being beaten one after another at PokerStars. The russian who played more than 40 thousand hands did not have his record for long. It has already been beaten by “ChicagoJoey” who played 50 470 hands in 21 hours. He beat the russian’s record and also succedded with something the precious record holder didn’t – to make a profit.

“ChicagoJoey” played 0,10/0,25 no-limit and pot-limit and ended up with a profit of $800, which gives him a salary of $38 per hour. He also won $33 000 for taking on the challenge succesfully.

Poker After Dark has become a very popular program on TV that is usually played as a Sit and Go tournament but every once in a while as a cashgame with the blinds $200 / 400.
These cashgame-programs have become popular and therefor the producers have decided to make a number of top programs called Railbird Heaven.

Soon it shall once again be cashgames that is played and the lineup that will take a seat at the table is not bad to say the least, thus the name. The players that will compete for several million dollars is Phil Ivey, Phil Hellmuth, Gus Hansen, Daniel Negreanu, Tom Dwan and Patrik Antonius.
