Highstakes: Phil Ivey and Patrik Antonius crush Isildur1
November 23 2009, Pokerfox
“Isildur1″ became totally run over by the Tilt-stars Phil Ivey and Patrik Antonius this weekend. During the same one game the Swede lost over $3 millions, and his earlier so huge profit margin has now been minimized.
Antonius was the one that took the biggest piece of the cake, with a total win of over $2 millions. But Phil Ivey also knocked the Swede and left the table with a win of over $1 million.
A lot of people are now talking about that the Swede is starting to disappear from the highstakes scene, and comparisons are being made with “Martonas” that earlier during the year came from nowhere like a rocket on the highest tables on the net, but then disappeared in the same way.
Isildur1’s total profit since he showed up on the high stakes tables is now “only” $750 000, and he needs a big turn in his play now if he will not disappear totally from the scene.
An opinion most people share is that Isildur1 should avoid to challenge these poker stars at the same time, and that the Swede maybe should concentrate on NL Hold’em instead of Pot Limit Omaha.
Isildur1 seems to have another opinion though, and now continues to try and crack Phil Ivey in the play PL Omaha.
